One of the biggest events on the fashion calendar; the Victoria’s Secret show.
You’ve already heard it. SOOO SICK! The show took place on Monday at the Mercedes Benz arena in Shanghai and had an audience of 3000.
With 88 runways looks, 38 pairs of wings and 55 models it was the biggest catwalk in the brands 22-year show history and I think one of my favourites so far.
The show was split into 6 sections. Opened by the one and only Candice Swanepoel (who had a child 12 months ago and still has that figure) wearing feather wings and a studded belt for the “Punk Angel”, which was a collaboration by one of my favourites, Olivier Rousteing (Balmain) and was the largest and coolest section debuted ever, then there was “Goddesses”, which saw Lais Ribeiro wearing this year’s fantasy bra worth $2 million and by the looks of it, probably worth every single penny (if you had it) single word, stunning; this was then followed by the VS PINK themed “Millennial Nation” then the “Porcelain Angel” collection and the show closed with the multicultural and somewhat relevant “Nomadic Angels” which sported out-of-this-world colours.
There were performances by Harry Styles, Miguel, Jane Zhang and Leslie Odom Jr, jam packed, right?
If you’re wanting to watch the show from the UK (you probably have managed a way to do so by now), but if you haven’t, you can tune into HayU to watch the full show on 29TH November.
