The year is 2017 and social media could not be bigger. Who would’ve thought just 10 years ago our lives would’ve been almost revolved around a portable touch screen.
As social media has grown throughout the years, so have our profiles, followings and the people we follow. Gone are the days of advertising through the old newspaper, brands are now targeting their audience through social media platforms such as Instagram. The majority of Instagram’s users are between 18-29, an age that is more swayed and possibly easier influenced than maybe any other age. It’s the easiest marketing tool. That being said, it is now known that Instagram is now the no.1 fashion tool with influencers and bloggers wrapped around its little finger, helping them gain social attention as well as access to some of the highest and most renowned fashion brands. It’s every bloggers dream no matter what to be invited to or to be noticed by any of their long list of favourite brands yet as it seems that it’s just the bloggers and influencers that are getting the benefit of this reach out or invite, it can also be in the brands best interest to keep their page relevant and connect with us.
One thing I look at when on a brands Instagram page is the lay out and the quality of the images, I think If a page flows with a theme it looks so cool and appealing. As just a blogger or regular Instagram go-er, I don’t think it’s completely necessary to have a flow in your page but for brands it’s so much better to have something that represents you and your visions. (In no particular order) …
A brand that creates only the most exclusive clothing, their Instagram page shares their vibe. Urban, cool and extremely fashionable, TDS Instagram feed is a force to be reckoned with, it’s no surprise their followers are rising.
So they say on their website, “every picture tells a story” and each picture on their Instagram comes together to tell the most perfect series of tales. Rat and Boa is said to be for the lovers, daredevils, women of the night, believers and free spirits and with no doubt, they’ll keep their brand and following growing.
Luxury furs are their game and oh do they show them off well. With celebs like Sofia Richie and Nicki Minaj wearing their luxe items it’s no surprise these guys have already have a decent following. Just looking at their page makes you feel like you’re walking the streets of NYC wearing their designs on a cold winters day… If only.
Just one look at MissGuided’s page can give you all the feels. The vibe their page gives is just so cool, no wonder they have 2.5m followers, I suppose their cheap but chic clothing helps too…
Is there really anything more satisfying than a ‘clean’ Instagram feed (and by clean, I mean every image single image being completely perfect). With an edgy and raw minimalistic style and a stunning Instagram page it’s not suprise Naked Vice has created such a loyal brand following.
Plenty of pastels, AxelArigato is a contempary fashion brand. “showcasing the imagery the brand was started with and channelling it through a visual language.” Their brand image is clean, crisp and gives me them city street vibes.
Edgy with attitude there is nothing to not love about Y-project, they are an incredible brand with some amazing pieces and their Instagram makes the brand come to life all the more. You can so get their vision and vibe from here and with 151k followers they aren’t doing too bad.
